Experience
I tutored individually as an undergrad when people would ask for my help in a few classes such as Organic Chemistry and Vertebrate Form and Function. As a graduate student, I was a TA for Plant Form and Function and Ecology. After graduate school, I worked at a botanical garden where I taught various science lessons such as native fauna and flora, ethnobotany, flowering plants, the water cycle and plant growth for K-6 students. Additionally, I taught preschools programs about plants, worms, insects and soil, planned and taught Botany Camp programs on science based topics, and developed tour programs to educate middle school students about photosynthesis and nutrient cycles according to Idaho Science Content Standards.
