I am working on my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Chadron State College. I have experience tutoring grade school children and have done so for several years. I especially love teaching Math. I had to learn to love Math, as I remember failing classes before. However, I did not give up. I benefited from my determination to succeed and now I am able to tutor Math. I learned how to struggle with complex courses, and then to find a way to study effectively. From my own experience, I can vouch that Math can sometimes be irritating and a major challenge. Half the battle at winning at math is getting a strong grip on the basics. Knowledge, in this instance, is still power. The other half of the battle is developing the confidence to approach and solve any problem. I tutor my students and provide the solutions to develop confidence. Math can create a lot of road blocks, and it is necessary to work through these time and again. The only weapons you will have is your knowledge and your belief in yourself. This is how I tutor my students. I hope that you and I can work together.
