Experience
I went to UC - Irvine for my bachelor's degree in drama. I also earned a literature minor. I then went to UC - Santa Cruz for my master's degree in education, also earning credentials as an English teacher. Since graduating, I've been teaching language arts and drama at the middle school and high school levels. I've also been a director of several high school productions, and I was able to help the school develop its visual and performing arts program. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing and literature, and I enjoy helping students become stronger writers and improve reading comprehension. My years of experience as a teacher has helped me develop a library of resources and techniques to successfully help students learn and become confident in their abilities. When I have free time, I like to read, tend my garden, watch plays and movies, and spend time with friends and family.
